The paper is devoted to the disclosure construction of SCADA system for managing operating modes and monitoring electric drive overhead crane. material provided in form step-by-step instructions building such a Vijeo Designer program. creation new project, interface elements, binding variables with setting behavior dynamic elements are shown detail. issue communication global variable visual M241 controller program SoMachine has been revealed. developed allows control three mechanisms bridge crane: main hoist, auxiliary hoist carriage movement. It how frequency converters that connected through different types communication: direct analog controller, Ethernet/IP protocol. work will be useful academic purposes teaching students as well researchers industrial engineers.
